Hope Squad is a nationally recognized, peer-to-peer suicide prevention and mental health support program that empowers students to look out for one another, build a culture of kindness, and connect their peers to trusted adults when they need help. Selected by their classmates for their empathy, trustworthiness, and leadership, Hope Squad members receive training on how to recognize signs of distress, offer support, and guide students toward appropriate resources.
We are proud to introduce our New Tech chapter of Hope Squad, sponsored by staff member and teacher Ari Lezovich. Under Ari’s guidance, our Hope Squad works to spread hope, encourage inclusion, reduce stigma around mental health, and remind every student that they are valued, seen, and never alone. Our Hope Squad is one more way we are building a compassionate, connected school community.
